Principal's Message

Greetings, SVAH Families,

I’m Yesenia Arroyo, the proud principal of RFK School for Visual Arts and Humanities. It is an honor to serve this vibrant community and work alongside you to inspire, motivate, and create pathways to success for our students. With over 31 years of experience in the Los Angeles School District, I have had the privilege of serving in many educational roles. I am deeply committed to ensuring every student has the opportunities they need to thrive.

My journey in education is rooted in the values instilled in me by my family and community: integrity, compassion, perseverance, and a love for service. These values guide my decisions and remind me daily of the importance of supporting others in reaching their full potential. As an ELL student, I understand the transformative power of education, and I am passionate about helping our students succeed academically and creatively.

At SVAH, we are dedicated to providing a college-preparatory education anchored in the arts, preparing students to face the world with creativity, confidence, and resilience. I am committed to leading by example and fostering a strong partnership with our students, families, and staff to create an environment where all students can excel.

Together, we can ensure our students reach their highest potential. I look forward to meeting you, seeing you at school events, and working together to support your child’s success. Thank you for your ongoing collaboration and commitment to their education. Let’s make this a fantastic school year!

With respect and gratitude/Con respeto y gratitud,

Ms. Arroyo, Principal
